Introducing the Nautical Adventures of
Lynn and Chuck Evans
and their sailing journey
| "Cyan" is the hypnotic, deep aqua color of the shallow, tropical sea water around islands and coral reefs. It is also the color blue you find in your printer cartridge!! | ![]() |

| Everything seemed to have fallen into place and God seemed to have had a hand in it. In spring 2004, as we were preparing for our departure date and this new life, we were selling everything preparing to buy the boat. Suddenly, the neighbors in the house behind us, who also attended our church, bought our house for full price even before it was listed. This sure made the whole job faster and simpler but not easier!!! They even adopted the dear, old cat, Stimpy!!! This 14 year old cat was in no mental shape to live on a boat and is much happier staying on the 4 acres there in Georgia. | Chuck was an investment advisor with Merril Lynch for 20 years and then with Bank of America for 7 more. Before that he flew A7's for the US Navy. Lynn was always some kind of artist, most recently a studio potter for 9 years working in stoneware and raku. We both have always been avid do-it-yourself-ers and that's handy on a boat where all kinds of repairs are made in remote places. We plan to sail for as many years as our health allows and then return to the US to retire and resume pottery and woodworking. |
